Participants will learn to:

  • Safely handle, load, unload, and clear a carbine in a controlled environment

  • Apply the Four Universal Safety Rules to dynamic rifle manipulation

  • Develop stable marksmanship fundamentals and recoil control

  • Zero optics and understand mechanical offset

  • Execute essential rifle manipulations (reloads, malfunctions, ready positions)

  • Move confidently with a rifle while maintaining muzzle discipline

  • Apply skills through structured close- and mid-range performance drills

Students should bring:

  • A serviceable carbine with sling

  • 250–350 rounds of ammunition

  • 2–4 magazines

  • Eye and ear protection

  • Magazine carrier (recommended)

  • Weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe footwear

  • A basic cleaning kit

Loaner carbines may be available with advance notice and a rental fee.
